squint: say when a page is wider than its screen
A full-page screenshot is captured at the page's own content size, so a page that scrolls sideways on a phone already came back wider than the phone. That number was in every report and read as a size: an account card pushed a status badge off a 390px screen and sat in thirty-odd screenshots without anyone calling it a bug, until a person on a phone reported it. Width alone is not enough to act on. An absolutely positioned tooltip bubble -- invisible at rest, still counted -- widens a page by forty pixels with nothing drawn out there, and a check that reported that the same way it reports clipped content would be ignored within a week. So the shot also says whether anything is painted past the edge. This is the one thing squint judges on its own, and it is the one that needs no taste: content nobody can reach is not a matter of opinion. Reported in both modes, whether or not anything moved, because a page that was already too wide stays too wide until someone touches the file. Against the revision that had the bug it names both, and tells them apart: admin-accounts.phone.light 65px past the 390px viewport, with content out there admin-settings.phone.light 40px past the 390px viewport, nothing drawn out there Zero false positives over the forty-two shots of a fixed tree.
