1. Who we are
gitfor at https://gitfor.dev is operated by Taigrr LLC ("we", "us"). The software is open source; these terms cover only this hosted instance, not copies other people run.
2. Accepting these terms
By creating an account, signing in with GitHub, or otherwise using the service you agree to these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy. If you use the service for an organization, you accept them on its behalf and confirm you are authorized to do so.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old. If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you must be at least 16, or have the consent of a parent or guardian. You may not use the service if you are barred from doing so by applicable law, including sanctions and export-control laws.
4. Your account
- Give accurate information, keep your email address current, and keep your credentials secret.
- You are responsible for activity under your account, including activity by personal access tokens, deploy tokens, agents and CI workflows you create.
- One person or automated agent per user account; machine use goes through tokens, not shared logins.
- Accounts that never verify their email address and have no repositories or activity are deleted automatically shortly after signup so their usernames and emails can be reused.
- You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting it removes your repositories and anonymizes your comments on other people's projects, as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the code, issues, comments, sites and other content you put on the service. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, display and transmit it only as needed to run the service: for example to serve clones, render pages, run your CI jobs, build your sites, index code for search, and send notifications. Public content can also be viewed, cloned and forked by other users. The license ends when you delete the content, except for copies others have already forked or that we must keep under the retention rules in section 8 of the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload and for the licenses you apply to it. Do not upload content you are not allowed to share.
6. Compute, CI runners, editors and sites
Cloud CI runners, editor containers and builds execute code you choose on infrastructure we rent. Use them for building, testing and deploying your own software. Cryptocurrency mining, running unrelated long-lived services, attacking other systems and other uses listed in the Acceptable Use Policy are prohibited. Sites you publish are public unless you restrict them, and must not impersonate others or collect credentials.
7. AI features
Optional AI features (such as merge-conflict suggestions, pull request descriptions and agents) send the relevant code, diffs and text to Cloudflare Workers AI or, if you configure your own key, to the provider you chose. AI output can be wrong or insecure; review it before you merge or deploy it. You are responsible for your use of a third-party provider under that provider's terms.
8. Plans, billing and limits
- Free accounts have usage limits. Paid plans and prepaid credits are billed through Stripe in advance; prices and included usage are shown on the billing page.
- Subscriptions renew until you cancel. Cancelling stops renewal at the end of the current period. Unless the law requires otherwise, fees and unused credits are non-refundable.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
- Taxes may be added where required.
9. Suspension and termination
We may remove content, pause sites, cancel jobs, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, that put the service or others at risk, or where the law requires it. Where it is safe and lawful we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond or export your data. You can stop using the service at any time.
If you open a chargeback or payment dispute for a charge from us, the billed account is disabled and its paid services are cancelled until you resolve the dispute with support.
10. Copyright complaints
We respond to notices of claimed infringement as described in our copyright policy, and terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
11. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that data will never be lost; keep your own copies of important repositories.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
13. Indemnity
If you use the service for a business, you will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content or your breach of these terms.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify account holders by email or in the product at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are subject to the courts there, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
